Stop this madness!
This
puppy was for sale at a yearly fair in Kerry. We had a phone
call from the person that bought it. Although he called us
he had not been feeding it for the 3 days he had it. We took
it to one of our vets who found the puppy to be dehydrated,
undernourished and very weak. Thank goodness he is doing well
now and will be soon be ready fro a new home. He was too young
to leave his mother. Please, if you go to any kind of fair
that is selling dogs, ask if they have a license. It is against
the law to breed dogs without one!!!
This
beautiful dog was found straying and a lady took it in but
the dog got out and the local farmer told the lady it was
in the field with his sheep and the sheep were being worried.
We visited the dog and took epics and found it to be a lovely
natured dog and would get a home in no time if no one came
forward to claim him. Well, unfortunately the dog was not
kept in and went back to the field where the farmer inevitably
made sure it was never to get the chance of a wonderful future.
The dog has been killed!
This is heartbreaking and so unnecessary. If we could get
enough funding for premises we could have taken this dog and
made sure it was kept safe and looked after until it got a
home.
